Armoza’s Final Four reaches Asia, NZ

Armoza’s Final Four

MIPCOM: Armoza Formats’ singing competition show The Final Four has been picked up by Asia Pacific-based production company Context Media to be adapted for New Zealand and pan-Asian territories.

The deal follows yesterday’s licensing agreements for the format (13×90-120’) with French production company Satisfaction – The Television Agency.

Other companies to have picked up The Final Four recently include Karga Seven Pictures for Turkey, CPL Productions in the UK and Banijay Zodiak Nordic for local versions in Norway and Denmark. The Final Four has also been commissioned in the US by Fox and in Russia by CTC.

At Mipcom in Cannes this week, Armoza has also closed the first deal for its docu-reality format Back to Life, which is to be adapted in Poland by local prodco Rochstar.

The format, originally created by Israel’s Channel 10 in partnership with Armoza, follows the stories of patients and their families as they wait for a life-saving organ donation.

Armoza and Rochstar have previously worked together to bring primetime reality competition Curvy Supermodel to Polsat.
