Israeli distributor Armoza Formats is bringing formats from Belgium and Canada to MipTV next month, alongside six local shows.

Belgian docureality format Local Heroes aired on VTM and is produced by Geronimo, with the show already set to be remade in the Netherlands.

The 60-minute format follows the lives of a city’s emergency services – ranging from firefighters and paramedics to bomb squads and drug units.

Canadian psychological thriller Vertige (6×60’), from Pixcom, aired on TVA and Series+ and follows the story of a young woman who awakens after three months in a coma with no memory of what happened during the 24 hours prior to her alleged suicide attempt.

Armoza’s own format The Foodies (60’) is also available, with the docureality joining groups of food-obsessed consumers as they discuss their favourite culinary trends.

Also on the slate is gameshow Wrecking Ball (60’), dating format Date in Reverse (60’) and talk and entertainment programme The Running Show (30’).

Scripted shows include Israeli therapy sitcom La Famiglia (30×30’), from United Studios Israel, and The Wordmaker (7×60’), produced by MyTV, which explores a man’s past with a religious cult.
