Armoza does Thailand a favour

MIPTV: Thai production company Zense Entertainment has picked up format rights to Armoza’s gameshow Do Me a Favour.

Zense has licensed a full-season run of the 60-minute show, although a broadcaster has yet to be revealed.

Do Me a Favour was created by Itay Herman and Oded Kramer (Catch, Still Standing), jointly developed by Argentina’s Telefe and Armoza and first produced by Telefe.

The street-set gameshow sees two contestants try to persuade strangers to do them a favour in the shortest time possible.

“At Zense Entertainment Production Company we believe in the importance of the international content market and we hope that this partnership on Do Me A Favour will be the beginning of a prosperous relationship,” said Sorayuth Sagrikananda, Zense Entertainment’s foreign relations manager.

Armoza is doing brisk business in Asia. The deal with Zense is Armoza’s second Thai deal, following yesterday’s sale of entertainment format I Can Do That! to Kantana Group.

Armoza has also struck new deals with China, including a development and distribution partnership with JSBC.

Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats, called Asia a very important market for the company and said it would continue to focus on the region.
