ARD Degeto nets Red Bull drama

A German network has acquired the rights to the first scripted series produced by Red Bull Media House-owned Austrian broadcaster ServusTV.

ARD Degeto has picked up the drama Trakehnerblood, which it will air under the title Gestüt Hochstetten.

The series comes from Ewa Karlström and Andreas Ulmke-Smeaton of Munich-based production company SamFilm, which was also behind the Windstorm feature films.

It follows a young woman who, after discovering she is the sole heir to a stud farm, also finds that she has three half-siblings who had previously thought they would be inheriting the establishment.
