AMC strikes Dutch carriage deal

Fear the Walking Dead season 2B will air on KPN from August

US cablenet AMC’s international service has signed a distribution agreement with telco KPN in the Netherlands.

AMC Global will be available in KPN’s PlusPakket package from July 1.

The channel is already on KPN’s main cable rival, Ziggo, and AMC said today’s deal means the net is available to over 95% of pay TV homes in the Netherlands.

AMC will be made channel of the month on KPN in August, when it will launch Turn: Washington Spies and season 2B of Fear the Walking Dead.

In July, AMC will premiere Hap & Leonard and Mad Men while Fear the Walking Dead season one and 2A will be scheduled as a marathon.

This week, it was announced that AMC’s forthcoming anthology series The Terror will air exclusively around the world on AMC Global.
