AMC extends reach in Slovakia

Fear the Walking Dead season two airs on AMC from April 11

AMC Networks International Central Europe has increased its distribution in Slovakia after extending deals with two local operators.

AMC will become available to DIGI Slovakia for the first time while the channel will gain wider carriage on Slovak Telekom.

The arrangement means viewers will be able to watch the second season of AMC original Fear the Walking Dead simultaneously with the US premiere on AMC on April 11.

Balazs Hajos, AMCNI CE’s regional sales director, said the expansion “highlight the growing demand for AMC in the region. We will continue our mission to bring top-quality original programming and global hit series fully dubbed to our viewers in Slovakia.”
