AMC expands Shudder’s slate

French pay channel OCS’s drama Missions

AMC Networks has picked up French drama series Missions for its thriller- and horror-skewing SVoD service Shudder.

Subscribers in the UK, Ireland, the US and Canada will be able to watch the show, which is produced by France’s Empreinte Digitale for local pay channel OCS.

The series is sold globally by Mediawan-owned sales and production outfit Groupe AB, with Shudder also picking up rights to the forthcoming second season, due to air in 2018.

This month Shudder added German thriller The Valley to its service in the US, Canada, the UK and Ireland.
