AMC expands in Croatia

AMC’s comic book-based series Preacher

AMC Networks International has expanded distribution of its flagship channel in Croatia after agreeing an extended deal with local pay TV operator Vipnet.

Telekom Austria Group-owned Vipnet will add the AMC channel to its basic package from today, allowing subscribers to watch shows including Fear the Walking Dead, Preacher, Better Call Saul and forthcoming drama The Terror.

Telekom Austria agreed a carriage deal for AMC in Croatia and Bulgaria in October as part of the US-based company’s expansion in the Adriatic region.

AMC first launched outside North America in late 2014 and is now available on subscription platforms in more than 125 countries across Europe, Latin America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
