Andy Murray: Resurfacing will launch on November 29

Amazon Prime Video will launch a feature-length documentary about British tennis star Andy Murray later this month.

Andy Murray: Resurfacing recounts the tennis player’s road to recovery following a chronic hip injury in 2017 that nearly ended his career.

Told in his own words, the doc features inside access to Murray’s life over the last two years as he attempts to achieve his greatest comeback yet.

“The film will take you on a journey through what were some of the lowest, most difficult periods of my life both physically and mentally, and will hopefully show and inspire viewers that, with the right mindset and work ethic, anything is possible,” said Murray.

Andy Murray: Resurfacing is produced and directed by Olivia Cappuccini and produced by John Battsek for Passion Pictures in collaboration with Pitch Productions and Scenes of Reason.

The doc will launch on Amazon Prime Video worldwide on November 29.
