Celebrity Hunted – Caccia all’uomo runs to six episodes

Amazon Prime is adapting a celebrity version of Endemol Shine format Hunted as its first Italian original series.

Celebrity Hunted – Caccia all’uomo will follow celebrities over six episodes as they go on the run with limited resources from a team of expert hunters.

Produced by Endemol Shine Italy, it will air on Amazon Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories in 2020.

“With Celebrity Hunted – Caccia all’uomo we are bringing a truly innovative concept to viewers,” said Georgia Brown, director of European original series at Amazon Studios.

The eight Italian celebrities in the debut series include former Italian international footballer Francesco Totti, artist Fedez, YouTuber Luis Sal and, actor Claudio Santamaria alongside journalist and writer Francesca Barra, news reader Costantino della Gherardesca and actors Diana Del Bufalo and Cristiano Caccamo.

Endemol Shine Group has sold the Hunted and Celebrity Hunted format into eight territories, including to CBS in the US.

The format was originally created by Shine TV for Channel 4 in the UK.
