Alphanim makes sales in Asia, Europe

French toon house Alphanim has sold a number of its shows to countries including Finland, Israel and Japan.

MTV Oy/Juniori in Finland has acquired three shows: comedy filler Mouss & Boubidi (52×1′), Christmas series Santapprentice and medieval comedy Gawayn.

Gawayn has also been acquired by Noga in Israel and by Nickelodeon in Asia. In addition, Noga has picked up Alphanim’s high-school comedy Zap Jr High, while in Hungary, Duna TV has taken Cooking? Child’s Play.

Alphanim has also struck a pan-Asian deal, including Japan, with Disney for Mouss & Boubidi.

Earlier this year, Alphanim founder Christian Davin sold the animation studio to Gaumont and has set up his own company, Christian Davin Productions.
