All3’s Maverick makes development hires

All3Media-owned prodco Maverick TV has hired execs from two rival production firms to bolster its development teams in the UK and US.

Emily Mayer is joining the US team as senior VP of development while Natalie Goldberg has been added to the UK office as head of development.

Mayer joins from Fishbowl World Media, where she was senior VP of development and worked on shows for Brazo, Oxygen and WeTV, among others.

She previously had stints with NBCUniversal’s Wilshire Studios, Fox Television Studios, GRB Entertainment, Alchemy Television Group and 44 Blue Productions, having started her career at United Talent Agency.

Goldberg, meanwhile, was previously development executive at Discovery-owned UK prodco Betty. She also spent a year working as development creative and format creator at Jarrett Creative in New York.

Mayer will report to Maverick TV USA president Adam Greener, while Goldberg reports directly to Maverick CEO Simon Knight.

Both the roles are newly created.
