All3Media bolsters US ranks

All3Media America has promoted six senior executives and brought in a Shed Media producer to strengthen its management team.

The US division of the UK group, led by Wife Swap creator Stephen Lambert, has appointed Leah Hariton as VP of current series. Hariton, previously an executive producer with Shed Media US, will now oversee multiple series in production across broadcast and cable networks.

Meanwhile, Aaron Saidman, one of the earliest hires at the original Studio Lambert USA, has been promoted to exec VP of development and current programming. He was a producer on the first season of Undercover Boss before joining the company as its head of development.

Wally Parks has been upped to exec VP of production after four years at the firm. Parks has overseen production management since the elevation of Amy Hussey, the department’s original head, to the role of chief operating officer.

Other promotions go to Jacob Cohen-Holmes, who becomes senior VP of development and current programming, and Jonathan Parkman, promoted to senior VP of post-production. Previously a key member of All3Media-owned Zoo Productions, Parkman has been tasked with managing an expansive post-production operation in consultation with Parks.

Dana Boratenski, another early hire at Studio Lambert, has been promoted to VP of production development, while Sabrina Fiander has been upped to VP of production.

The reshuffle follows the purchase of the All3Media group by US factual specialist Discovery Communications and cablenet operator Liberty Global for £550m (US$930m) in May.

Lambert and Eli Holzman, chairman and president of All3Media, said: “The All3Media America LA production hub was launched just 19 months ago, but the results in terms of commissions won and demand for our productions have exceeded expectations.

“As we now prepare for a period of accelerated growth it is vital that we bolster our ranks with talented executives who share our values and who will help us ensure that the stream of high-quality productions All3Media America is known for will continue to flow uninterrupted.”
