All3Media America names CEO

Greg Lipstone is replacing Eli Holzman

All3Media America has appointed a founding partner at talent agency ICM Partners as CEO to replace president Eli Holzman.

Greg Lipstone will oversee day-to-day operations at All3’s US division and the prodcos that fall under it, including Zoo Productions, Maverick and Commonwealth Studios, which was recently set up with Undercover Boss showrunner Chris Carlson.

Lipstone will replace Holzman, who has been overseeing the US division as president since 2012, but will now exit. Holzman was previously president for Studio Lambert’s US arm, which was brought under the All3Media America umbrella in the same year.

Lipstone, who has been representing for All3 for more than a decade, has worked for producers including Leftfield Entertainment, Gurney Productions and Original Media and on shows such as The Office, Hell’s Kitchen, Undercover Boss and ABC’s Ugly Betty. Before joining ICM, he worked at media giant William Morris Agency where he headed up the TV division.

All3Media CEO Jane Turton said Lipstone’s appointment would help the prodco with its “next phase of growth” in the US.

“Greg’s knowledge of the industry is exceptional, and the combination of his relationships, his reputation, his commercial flair and his drive will play a hugely important part in growing All3Media in the US,” she added.

In a statement, the partners at ICM said: “Greg will always be part of the ICM Partners family, and we look forward to continuing to work with him to further the success of All3Media America.”

All3 is now owned by Liberty Global and Discovery Communications following their takeover in 2014 for around US$1bn. It is behind US series including Undercover Boss for CBS and The Pitch for AMC.
