All3 acquires sports outfit Aurora

All3Media has added sports specialist Aurora Media Worldwide to its stable of production companies.

Aurora was founded in 2012 and specialises in live sports broadcasts such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Revival, ATP/WTA Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, BWF Badminton, International Six Day Track Cycling and Formula E.

Working with Neil Duncanson’s team at North One Television, Aurora is the production partner to the world’s first electric single-seater racing series, ABB FIA Formula E Championship, hosting the TV output for broadcasters around the world. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
