Alchimie rolls out TVPlayer in Spain

French content aggregation company Alchimie has launched its OTT service TVPlayer in Spain.

The free VoD service will provide Spanish viewers with access to more than 30 channels, including a combination of live and on-demand content.

TVPlayer’s offering will include many of Spain’s traditional linear broadcast channels alongside exclusive branded and themed VoD channels featuring a selection of premium content from Spanish and European prodcos and media groups.

Its channels on its Spanish launch will include TVE1, TVE2, kids’ channel Clan, 24h, Teledeporte, Antena3, LaSexta, Neox, Nova, Mega and Gol, as well as regional channels TV3 and TeleMadrid.

VoD channels such as Muy Interesante TV, Espacio Misterio TV, Vaughan Play, Doc+, Animalium and UBeat will also be available, alongside other channels.

Blandine Weill, Alchimie’s general manager for Spain, said: “We’re delighted to be able to launch TVPlayer in Spain, offering together an exciting and exclusive range of channels to Spanish audiences under one easy-to-access service and providing entertainment for everybody, whatever their interests or budget.”

Alchimie acquired TVPlayer in September last year.
