Aito Media appoints COO

Finnish prodco Aito Media has promoted from within to fill the newly created role of chief operating officer.

Jutta Tuomaala’s promotion comes as chief financial officer and deputy CEO Anniina Johansson begins working on her own company, Aito Media said.

Tuomaala has worked as an exec producer at Aito Media for more than 10 years, with credits including The Night Patrol, You Are What You Eat and Rescuing Santa.

In her new role, which she will assume on September 1, Tuomaala will be responsible for permanent personnel and productions.

Aito Media is led by founders and co-CEOs Ilkka Hynninen and Eero Hietala.
