A+E to investigate Lost Relics

Treasure hunters Carl Cookson and Hamilton White

A+E Networks UK’s factual channel History has ordered the new series Lost Relics of the Knights Templar from Belfast-based prodco Fired Up Films and London-based Krempelwood.

The 5×60’ series revolves around one of the world’s most prolific yet unknown treasure hunters Hamilton White and his long-time friend and multi-million property tycoon Carl Cookson.

It follows White and Cookson as they travel through Europe and the Middle East to find treasures belonging to the Knights Templar that nobody has previously been able to uncover.

The series is produced by Dominic Ozanne, with Diana Carter, Jon-Barrie Waddell Tara Long, Mark Wood and Blair Krempel exec producing.

Lost Relics has also received funding from Northern Ireland Screen. Transatlantic producer and distributor Entertainment One (eOne) will handle international distribution of the title.

The series is set to premiere on History in the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Netherlands and Belgium in April 2020.

A+E’s History will soon rebrand as Sky History this spring following a deal with European satcaster Sky.
