A+E bolsters Asian sales set-up

A+E Networks has added to its sales team in Asia by hiring an executive from Walt Disney.

Pooja Nirmal Kant has been appointed senior manager of international content sales for Asia, based in Singapore.

Kant was previously assistant manager for sales development at Walt Disney in South-East Asia, handling various aspects of sales, distribution and management. Prior to Disney she was sales coordinator in Asia for NBC Universal International Television Distribution.

She will report to Ling Sze Gan, senior director of international content sales in the region.
