A+E back in Combat with Woodcut

Woodcut’s Combat Machines looks at military engineering

A+E Networks in the UK has commissioned local indie Woodcut Media to produce another factual programme in the Combat franchise for its History channel.

Combat Machines (8×60’) will be the third in the franchise, following the success of Combat Ships and Combat Trains, which also previously premiered on History.

The programme was ordered by Dan Korn, VP of programming for History at A+E Networks UK. The series will be distributed internationally by TCB Media Rights.

Using a combination of interviews, recreation, graphics and archive footage, the show will tell the stories behind military engineering such as Hiram Maxim’s machine gun.

Combat Machines will air on History in the UK in 2018.
