Acorn TV, UMC join YouTubeTV

Acorn TV includes BBC crime drama Line of Duty

AMC Networks has added its Acorn TV and UMC SVoD services to Google’s YouTubeTV OTT platform in the US.

The UK and international television-focused Acorn and black film and TV-centred UMC have joined other AMC SVoD services on the US$49.99-a-month YouTubeTV stateside as US$6 and US$5 add-ons respectively.

Programming available on Acorn TV’s YouTubeTV channel includes ITV dramas Manhunt and Doc Martin, plus the BBC’s Line of Duty and Keeping Faith.

UMC’s YouTube TV channel includes its newest original drama, A House Divided, its first original reality series, Beyond the Pole, and number one show Craig Ross Jr’s Monogamy.

Over the past year, Acorn TV and UMC have expanded their availability across various platform partners, most recently joining Apple TV Channels and The Roku Channel. Sibling SVoD services Shudder, Sundance Now and AMC Premiere have followed suit and are already available on YouTubeTV.
