Acorn grows drama offering

The Syndicate: All or Nothing

The Syndicate: All or Nothing

US-based Acorn TV has acquired international dramas including French series The Disappearance and UK show The Syndicate: All or Nothing for its VoD service.

The service, from RLJ Entertainment, is dedicated to providing British content to a US audience.

The Disappearance is produced by Quad Television for France Télévisions and explores a family’s increasing distress when their teenage daughter fails to return home from a night out.

The Syndicate: All or Nothing, meanwhile, aired on the BBC and follows a group of workers who win the lottery, while the second season of Aussie legal drama Janet King will also be available.

Acorn is also preparing to debut Agatha Raisin, which RLJ has coproduced with Sky Vision, Mammoth Screen and Free@LastTV. It first aired on Sky1 in the UK.
