ABC3 Gets Ace

Australian children’s channel ABC3 has acquired animated series Get Ace to air later this year.

The toon, from local prodco Galaxy Pop, follows the comic misadventures of a nerdy first year high schooler after he is accidentally fitted with some ultra high-tech, experimental braces.

Get Ace originally aired on Network Ten’s Channel Eleven in Australia, where it quickly became one of the top performing shows.

In March, 9 Story Entertainment picked up worldwide distribution rights (excluding Australia and New Zealand) for the series.
