ABC TV in Australia and DR in Denmark are the first two broadcasters to secure the police procedural drama.

Created by screenwriter Abbott (Shameless, State of Play), the series sees a crack team of police officers clamp down on crime.

The programme is produced by AbbottVision for Channel 4 and will premiere in the UK on Tuesday May 5.

“No Offence is crime on steroids – it’s gripping, daring and a great reflection of Paul Abbott’s remarkable talents,” said Jens Richter, CEO of FMI.

FMI secured distribution rights to No Offence last month and took the show to MipTV.
