Red Arrow-owned US prodco 44 Blue Productions has promoted David Hale to exec VP of programming and Pat Lambert to VP of development.

Hale, previously senior VP of programming, is now responsible for all current series, pilots and presentations at 44 Blue.

He joined the prodco in 1997 as an intern and has worked his way through nearly every department of the company, becoming VP of current programming in 2008.

During his time at the firm, Hale has been involved in the launch of series including Lockup (MSNBC), Pit Bulls & Parolees (Animal Planet) and Nightwatch (A&E). He has also executive produced such titles as Wahlburgers (A&E), The Real Murders of Orange County (Oxygen), Twisted Sisters (Discovery ID), and Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry (E!).

Lambert, meanwhile, has been elevated from head of talent and development. He began his career as a talent booker for WGBH-PBS in Boston, before moving to LA and working for TV journalist Maria Menounos.

Lambert then moved on to series such as ABC’s FABlife, IFC comedy Bang! Bang! and Fox’s The Preachers and Boris & Nicole, as well as projects and series at E!, VH1, ESPN, Syfy, Hallmark and SiriusXM.

His previous roles at 44 Blue Productions include talent executive for the launch of hit series Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry (E!) and nationally syndicated talk show The TD Jakes Show.

Lambert replaces Brent Jacoby as VP of development. Jacoby left the company in February 2020 to become head of development and senior VP at Catalina Content.
