300 Voices heard in Germany

300: War of United Voices first aired on tvN

MIPTV: Keshet-owned German prodco Tresor TV has picked up the local remake rights to a music performance format from South Korean broadcast group CJ ENM.

Tresor will work on a German version of 300: War of United Voices, which sees top artists joining with 300 fans in one performance. The show originally aired on tvN in its homeland, where a second season is scheduled to launch next month.

The deal with Tresor follows last week’s news that the show had been picked up for adaptation by Endemol Shine France. It has already been optioned in US by Craig Plestis of Smart Dog Media.

South Korean formats have been hot property at MipFormats and MipTV in Cannes this week following the success of The Masked Singer on Fox in the US.
