Zodiak’s Floogals fly to Australia, China

Floogals is based on an idea from Dan Good

ABC in Australia and WeKids in China are among the broadcasters that have pre-bought the second season of CGI series Floogals from Banijay Group’s Zodiak Kids.

Originally commissioned for Universal Kids in the US, the 52×11’ alien adventure series has also been picked up by DeAgostini in Italy for its dedicated kids’ channel DeA Junior.

Floogals is based on an original idea from Dan Good and is coproduced by Nevision, Zodiak Kids Studios and Universal Kids with UK special-effects studio Jellyfish Pictures.

Zodiak Kids shares global distribution rights to the series with NBCUniversal. Season two launches on Universal Kids in the US later this year.

Season one of Floogals has sold to more than 150 territories, airing on networks including Milkshake! in the UK, Piwi+ in France, Discovery Kids in Lat Am, MBC in the Middle East and Discovery Kids Asia Networks (pan-territory deal).
