Zodiak Nederland nabs ESG exec

Zodiak Nederland has appointed an international format distribution manager from Endemol Shine Group to oversee its creative output.

Remco Lentjes becomes chief creative officer at Zodiak’s Dutch division, which is behind local versions of formats Fort Boyard, MasterChef and Celebrity Wife Swap.

Lentjes will be responsible for the development of original concepts and the adaptation of international formats for the Dutch market.

He worked as both editor-in-chief and head creative at RTL Productions before joining Endemol Shine.

Lentjes reports to Zodiak Nederland CEO Jan Hendrik Smeenge, who replaced Peter Lubbers at the start of 2015, prior to Zodiak Media’s merger with Banijay.
