Zodiak, Marble develop kids format

Canada’s Marblemedia, the Toronto prodco behind preschool hit This is Daniel Cook, has teamed up with Zodiak Media to develop a kids comedy format.

Marblemedia and The Foundation, part of Zodiak’s children’s entertainment arm, have developed the hidden-camera prank show as a 40×22′ series. The format, as-yet untitled, will feature kids who have to predict the behaviour of their family and friends in range of undercover pranks.

“Together with our partners at Zodiak, this concept will resonate with audiences worldwide by delivering an entertaining experience on all platforms, including a robust second screen app,” said Matt Hornburg, joint CEO and executive producer at Marblemedia.

Distribution of the format will be handled by Zodiak Kids, with Marblemedia-backed Distribution360 looking after North and South America.
