Zodiak Rights, the international sales division of Zodiak Media, has expanded the remit of its London-based VP of acquisitions to include the US and English-speaking Canada.

Andreas Lemos now has responsibility in the region for finished programme and format sales from Zodiak Rights’ catalogue, which totals over 20,000 hours.

Lemos will continue to be based out of Zodiak Rights’ London office as VP of sales (North America), acquisitions and coproductions.

The exec joined Zodiak Rights in 2011 having held roles at A+E Networks UK (fka AETN Networks UK), The History Channel, Bio and Virgin Media.

The promotion comes after Glen Hansen, senior VP of acquisitions and business development for North America left [1] Zodiak Rights last year to join A+E Networks.

Zodiak Rights is at Realscreen in Washington DC this week searching for pre-sale and coproduction opportunities for projects including Ranger Danger (6×30′), a factual series about the battle against poachers in South Africa.

It is also looking to get a US version of Blinging Up Baby, from producers Alaska Film & TV, remade in the US.
