Germany’s ZDF Enterprises has secured global rights to distribute a documentary about life in North Korea.

Gold for Kim: A Life for North Korea’s Leader (1×50′) is from German producer Hanfagarn & Ufer and explores life in the secretive country by examining how North Koreans participate in sport.

It features footage from inside the country and was written and directed by journalist Michael Höft for German pubcaster ZDF and its commercial arm ZDF Enterprises.
