ZDFE appoints for French-speaking drama

German distributor ZDF Enterprises (ZDFE) has appointed a StudioCanal exec to oversee sales of its drama series in French-speaking territories.

Mirela Nastase has been appointed director of ZDFE.drama having spent the past two and a half years as a sales manager at StudioCanal TV in the UK. Before that she was sales coordinator with Munich-based Tandem Communications, which was acquired by StudioCanal in 2012.

Nastase has also worked in France at production companies such as OnStage Productions in Lyon and La Vie est Belle Films Associés in Paris.

ZDFE.drama’s slate includes UK crime drama The Fall, German family drama Heavenly Bonds and Scandi noir The Bridge.
