Zalaznick leaves NBCUniversal

NBCUniversal (NBCU) executive Lauren Zalaznick is stepping down after 12 years with the company.

Formerly head of Bravo and Oxygen, Zalaznick moved into the new position of exec VP of NBCU in February, tasked with innovation, digital, monetisation and emerging technology.

The move came as NBCU unified its cable operations under Bonnie Hammer, chairman of NBCU cable entertainment and cable studios.

Zalaznick is the latest exec to leave as part of a management reshuffle by CEO Steve Burke.

She is expected to go by the end of the year and many of her current NBCU responsibilities will be assumed by new hire Cesar Conde, who joined the company in September as an exec VP.
