Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir

The producers behind the animated series Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir have partnered with a Spanish firm to coproduce a slate of action-adventure series.

French prodcos Zag and Method Animation will work with Spain’s Planeta Junior to develop five animated series under the banner Zag Heroez.

The first two projects are Power Players, which follows a team of secret heroes formed by a little boy and his toys, and Pixigirl, about a super-heroine with the supernatural powers of Mother Nature who battles evil witches in New York.

Planeta Junior will manage the licensing strategies for the five properties, having previously worked on the consumer products around Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir in parts of Europe.

Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir was developed by Zag in collaboration with Disney, TF1, Toei Animation, Method Animation, Samg and Bandai.
