Zack & Quack returns to Nick

MIP JUNIOR: Nickelodeon has ordered a second season of the 3D animated series Zack and Quack to air on its preschool channels around the world next year.

Nick Jr will air the 26×11′ season globally, including in the US where it will premiere in the summer of 2016.

The series is produced by creators QQD in partnership with fellow Israeli company Candy Bear Studios, Belly Up Productions in the UK and Singapore’s Infinite Frameworks.

It follows the adventures of a boy and his best friend, an impulsive young duck, as they explore their unique pop-up world.

Kids TV veteran Nigel Pickard executive producers the series via his company Spindrift Media alongside Ronen Shani and Yvette Kaplan, who created the show with Gili Dolev.

The first season was distributed by Zodiak Kids and was picked up by broadcasters including Channel 5 in the UK, TVE in Spain and NRK in Norway.
