US-based health and entertainment network Z Living has ordered four original series and acquired three others for its 2016/17 slate.

The originals include Finding Fido, which follows a canine expert who helps an enthusiastic prospective dog owner to find the perfect companion.

The others are Altar’d, The Big Fat Truth and Yoga Girls, which follows the lives of yoga instructors who compete for clients in LA’s West Side.

These are the first original series to be ordered under Z Living’s general manager Rafe Oller, who joined the network last autumn, and Tim Krubsack, exec VP and head of programming.

Meanwhile, Z Living has acquired culinary series Flip My Food and lifestyle shows House Hazards and Birth Days, all of which are scheduled to premiere in May.
