The as-yet untitled 8×60’ series will feature experts in the fields of science, philosophy, technology, engineering, medicine, futurism, entertainment and the arts to tell the story of artificial intelligence (AI).

The show will explore the impact of AI on society and how it is transforming the way we live and work. It will debut exclusively on Google-owned web video platform’s subscription service YouTube Red in 2019.

Iron Man star Downey Jr is hosting the show as well as exec producing with his wife Susan Downey and Emily Ford of Team Downey, Network Entertainment’s Derik Murray and Paul Gertz, and Sonar’s Jenna Santoianni and Tom Lesinski.

“There is so much to discover, and this series will take us on a fascinating journey as we explore the exciting developments in the world of AI and glimpse into the future,” said Susanne Daniels, global head of original content at YouTube.

YouTube Red is currently available in the US, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and Korea, with Sonar handling the show in other markets.
