YFE spreads reach into MENA

Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) pay TV platform My-HD has added a children’s channel from German media group Your Family Entertainment (YFE) to its line-up.

Yourfamily, a 24/7 TV channel that features animation and live-action series from YFE’s library of children’s entertainment, is now available to My-HD subscribers in MENA.

Series broadcast by the channel include Fix & Foxi and Digswell, as well as shows based on children’s book classics such as Tales of The South Seas and Timothy Goes To School.

YFE has operated the Yourfamily pay TV channel in German-speaking Europe since 2007.

Earlier this year YFE hired former Disney Channels Worldwide and KidsCo chief Paul Robinson to lead the global roll-out of its kids’ TV channels, which also include RiC.

An English-language feed went live in Africa on pay platform AzamTV on May 5. Robinson previously told C21 he also aims to secure carriage on pay TV platforms in Eastern Europe.
