Yeti hires animation trio

Canadian animation firm Yeti Farm Creative has appointed a trio of executives to its senior management team.

The Kelowna-based studio has brought in Blair Peters, a former Studio B Productions partner; Lance Priebe, founder of Club Penguin and Hyper Hippo Games; and Darren Battersby, formerly of Rainmaker Entertainment and Bardel Entertainment.

Peters and Priebe will help with the strategic and creative vision of both Yeti Farm Creative and its digital-first slate YetiLAB. Battersby is coming on board in a finance role.

All three will report to Yeti co-founder CEO Ashley Ramsay, who said: “It is an incredible time for our company – especially for our digital-first original productions. We see a huge opportunity in this area and we are looking forward to what tomorrow will bring.”

Last November, Yeti Farm Creative launched YetiLabs, a production and distribution outfit to create content for YouTube and Facebook.
