NEWS BRIEF: Viasat-owned Nordic online TV streaming service Viaplay has launched on the Xbox games console, in partnership with TV app outfit Accedo.

The app yesterday launched on Xbox in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, and has built-in Kinect motion control. Viaplay is also available on computers, smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, Viasat set-top boxes, Viaplaybox and PlayStation 3.
