X Factor retained in CEE

Broadcasters across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) have extended reality singing competition The X Factor.

Romanian network Antena 1 has agreed a new three-year deal for the show, while STB in the Ukraine has ordered a fifth season of the Syco Entertainment format, which is shopped by FremantleMedia.

A fourth run will air on Albania’s TV Klan and Eurasia 1 in Kazakhstan has also agreed an extension to its show, which will now go into its fifth and sixth seasons.
