Comedy Central in the US will bring the curtain down on long-running sitcom Workaholics after its seventh season.

The show, which follows the lives of a drug dealer and three college dropouts at a telemarketing firm, first aired in 2011. Its seventh run, set to debut in January, will be its last.

Workaholics was created by Blake Anderson, Adam DeVine, Anders Holm and Kyle Newacheck and was originally ordered after clips were posted on YouTube.

It is produced by US- and UK-based producer Avalon Television, along with US firms Gigapix Studios, 5th Year Productions and Mail Order Comedy.
