Wishing Tree spreads branches in Europe

The Wishing Tree originally aired on RTL4 in the Netherlands

Networks in Germany and Poland have become the latest broadcasters to pick up feel-good format The Wishing Tree from Talpa Media.

Sat.1 in Germany and TVN in Poland have taken the show, which sees kids making wishes for those they think deserve them.

Meanwhile, Belgium’s VTM, which was the first network to remake the format, has ordered a second season.

The Wishing Tree originally aired on RTL4 in the Netherlands and has since been picked up in countries including Brazil, Slovakia and Greece.
