Male-skewing reality hit Wicked Tuna

RTL in Germany and Seven Network in Australia have picked up new episodes of National Geographic’s extreme fishing show Wicked Tuna from US distributor Alfred Haber Television.

Alfred Haber was already distributing the first two seasons of the show, produced by Pilgrim Media Group for Nat Geo in the US, but has now added the third season to its sales slate.

Deals have already been secured with RTL, Seven, Scandi broadcaster Modern Times Group and Polsat in Poland.

Wicked Tuna focuses on North Atlantic fishermen who earn their living by catching elusive bluefin tuna.
