WGN America detects Murder She Wrote

Murder She Wrote with Angela Lansbury

Tribune Broadcasting-owned cable network WGN America has acquired the entirety of classic crime drama Murder She Wrote.

The network will begin 2018 with a Murder She Wrote marathon, airing the first four episodes from season one on January 1.

The series, which follows a mystery writer and amateur detective, played by Angela Lansbury, ran for 12 seasons on CBS between 1984 and 1996, totalling 265 episodes.
