WDR takes Maus and more to Asia, America

Gigglebug is based on a Finnish preschool app

MIPCOM: Children’s broadcasters in South Korea, Latin America and China have acquired a raft of shows from German distributor WDR Media Group.

Long-running German cartoon Maus will air in Mexico on Canal Once, while the TV adaptation of children’s book Bobo has been sold to Daekyo Kids for pay TV in South Korea and V-ME for VoD in US Hispanic.

Trude’s Flatmate, a spin-off from Maus, and Gigglebug, the TV version of Finnish preschool app, have been sold to JY Animation for its VoD platform in China.
