Watch eyes World’s Most Talented

UKTV has commissioned a travelling talent show for its Watch channel from UK production outfit Renegade Pictures.

World’s Most Talented is a five-part series that will travel the world in search of people who have spent years perfecting extraordinary and unusual feats.

The series will be fronted by Laura Jackson from Channel 4’s Freshly Squeezed, and David Brain in his first TV presenter role. Each week they will visit a different country and seek out the most entertaining, shocking and inspiring new talent.

Each act will be uploaded to a jury of 100 online critics for their instant reactions and to vote for the winner.

The series was commissioned by UKTV commissioning editor Hilary Rosen and will be executive produced by Renegade Pictures’ Harry Lansdown and Suzanne Readwin. It will premiere in early 2015.
