Walter Presents Red Arrow double

The Court will land on Walter Presents in the UK in September

International drama streamer Walter Presents has picked up UK rights to an Icelandic legal drama and a Swedish thriller from distributor Red Arrow Studios International.

The first two seasons of The Court (12×60’) will launch on UK broadcaster Channel 4’s VoD service All4 under the Walter Presents banner in September, while Farang (8×60’) will launch on the linear network via Walter Presents later this year.

Produced by Sagafilm for Channel 2 in Iceland, The Court follows the professional and personal lives of three lawyers at a Reykjavik law firm.

Its first season recently aired on Walter Presents in the US, with the second set to follow in August. Follow-up series Case (9×60’), again produced by Sagafilm for Channel 2, is also available from Red Arrow Studios International.

Farang, meanwhile, explores the complicated relationship between a father and daughter. It was made by Warner Bros for C More and TV4 Sweden.

The show is executive produced by Kjartan Thor Thordarson (Stella Blomkvist, Case, Cover Story) and Magnus Vidar Sigurdsson (Trapped, Black Angels, The Night Shift).
