Walter Presents picks up NENT dramas

The Inner Circle comes from Fundament Film

Non-English-language drama VoD platform Walter Presents has acquired five drama series from NENT Studios UK for its service in the US, the UK, Belgium, Italy and New Zealand.

The Inner Circle (8×60’) has been picked up by Walter Presents in the US, UK and Belgium. A Viaplay original produced by Fundament Film, the series is a Swedish political thriller adapted from a novel by Per Schlingmann.

Also heading to the US and UK is Monster (7×60’). Produced by NRK, the thriller series follows the hunt for a serial killer in a remote part of Norway.

For the US and Belgium, the streamer has acquired Rekyl (8×60’), a crime drama about a young man intent on making a fresh start after leaving prison, but who quickly finds himself sucked back into his old life. The series is a Shuuto production for TV3 in Norway.

In the UK, Italy and New Zealand, Walter Presents has picked up both 6×60’ seasons of Polish political thriller Pakt. Based on Norwegian series Mammon, it is produced as NENT Studios UK scripted format by HBO Europe.

Finally, eight-hour murder mystery series The River will land on Walter Presents in Italy. Produced by Arctic Wonder for Norway’s TV3, The River is set on Norway’s border with Russia and previously aired on Walter Presents in the UK, US and Belgium.
