Wall to Wall hires C4 exec

Warner Bros-owned UK prodco Wall to Wall TV has appointed a Channel 4 documentaries commissioner as its head of factual.

Anna Miralis is charged with developing Wall to Wall’s slate of contemporary series, as well as overseeing some of the company’s existing shows. She will report to Wall to Wall CEO Leanne Klein.

“After almost seven amazing years commissioning at Channel 4 and over 20 years working for broadcasters, I’m finally taking the plunge to join the indie world,” said Miralis, who takes up the newly created role in March 2017.

In September, Wall to Wall appointed former BBC executive Lucy Bacon as its head of factual development.

Miralis joined C4’s documentaries department in 2010 and her credits include series Secret Life of the Zoo, Posh Pawn and British Army Girls.

Prior to joining C4, Miralis was commissioning editor for documentaries at SBS-TV in Australia, working on a range of factual commissions including the local version of Who Do You Think You Are?
